Cinemapartments

Over the weekend I watched a wonderful french film, Cleo de 5 a 7. On a gray and rainy day there is nothing better than a french press of Stumptown and a 1960s french film. I loved Cleo's capricious sense of style and I am utterly transfixed by her apartment. The contrast of the airy whitewashed floors, walls, ceilings & beams with the massive, dark, baroque furniture had me rewinding and rewinding. The shelf of miniature clocks & the wall of necklaces inspired me to keep my eyes peeled in the shops and try to recreate the look in my own home.
